  • Skuggan - An modern oillamp
The oil lamp have had a vital role in humankind for thousands of years, it
has not changed because it is perfect as it is. Its so simple, natural and gives
a antiquity feeling to the light when the small wind blowing trough, making
the flame shiver and the shadows come alive.
This is a oil lamp that has both standing and hanging positions. By changing
the stand to an horizontal position the oil lamp atomically follows the gravity
and keeps the flame in a upright position. This makes it easy to change the
mood of lights occurring to the situation and use.
With this oil lamp I am hoping to show my Scandinavian designs style with
a suitable approach to the Japanese lifestyle. Because my future goal is an
close relationship to the Asian market.

  • The washbasin - designed for craft! Can a small carved detail in a piece of wood get you to unconsciously treat the object with
more respect? Will it make you react on a deeper level? Will it make you think for one more
second, to give the object more value and a longer life?
I have been examining the different values that craftsmanship possess. The visible trace of
a social context in an object tells you a story, gives you an image of a creator, and with that
the sense of uniqueness, affinity, and a respect for the time spent creating it. With my background
in arts and crafts together with my new experience in design, I have been working
within a more industrial designed area: the bathroom, to create a contrast with handmade
details. By focusing on the sink I created a flexible piece of furniture to make it easier to create
opportunity for collaboration between industry and craftsmen

  • Långgårdsgatan 4 - A carpet with childhood memories This was a school project where we were going to tell a story in a
2D illustration with the starting point of a city.
I chose to make an illustration about small memory's of things
that happened in my old building and yard in Gamla väster in
Malmö. This was because i wanted a object that was a everyday
object how reminded me about this small but important times. So
this is a simplified picture of my old yard from above with symbols
    representing the story's.
The media of material and teqnics i chose was to make the illustration
    into a tufted rug,
    Size 2000*1200

  • The Manta! Elegant thinness with comfortableness. The concept of the sofa, is to be thin, but also visually
    and perceptibly comfortable. Using lines,
which resemble something soft, makes the impression
of softness and illution to make the sofa look
    thin in verible angles.

  • I say, Pray! I’ve never been religious but have more or less been raised as an atheist. Thus, I don’t really believe in the sacred and spiritual. Despite this fact I still can’t help but getting a somewhat “spiritual” experience every time I enter a religious building. This feeling is what interests me – is our religious heritage so evident that I can’t help but be touched by it, or maybe it is the religious aesthetic expression that so cleverly ensnare us and leave us spellbound?

This cabinet was shown in the Stockholm Furniture Fair 2011.

  • Structural Nature These lamps is the result of my 10 week long Bachelor exam
work in ceramic art. I have been focusing on structures
and surfaces, to express and to mimic the structural side of
nature. When we hear of organic forms one might think
of non structural forms, but my feeling is that nature is the
most structural there is. This is what I want to express with
my lamps, to show organic forms in a new package.
